Best Meghan Markle official outfits since becoming a royal

Let’s be honest; we’re still not over our royal fever. We’re still obsessed, we’re still keeping up to date with all of the latest news, and we’re still filling our lives with Kate and Meghan as if our life depended on it. Of course, Prince Harry and William are still our favorite princes in the world, but it’s fair to say that their wives have taken over our lives – and we’re totally okay with that. Since becoming a royal, it’s fair to say that Meghan has impressed us even more than she did when she was a royal-to-be. Her fashion sense seems to have become even more stylish, and she is totally rockin’ it…

The reception gown

Meghan Markle’s wedding gown was totally breathtaking, but her reception gown was even more impressive in our opinion. This Stella McCartney halter-dress was simple yet effective and made Meghan look as radiant as ever. The white dress still hinted towards the fact that it was her wedding day, but the style and the design of the dress hinted that towards the fact that she was going to get down and boogie with ol’ Queen Lizzie at the end of the night. To top it all off, Meghan finished the look with an aquamarine ring, which previously belonged to Princess Diana.

The off-the-shoulder gown

If we’re being totally straight with you, Meghan Markle could probably wear a trash bag and still look as amazing as ever – but she chooses to wear clothing that suits her figure and shows off her femininity. This was the case on her second official outing when Meghan donned a peach off-the-shoulder gown-and-hat-combo that made the Duchess of Sussex look stylish. This Carolina Herrera gown was worn for the famous Trooping of the Colour event, and she was definitely trooping that peach color.

The floaty floral gown

In June 2018, Meghan Markle attended the wedding of Celia McCorquodale – who is the niece of the late Princess Diana. While she was not rocking a white dress, she was rocking a white and blue floral number. This Oscar de la Renta maxi dress was effortlessly chic and looked as if she had just stumbled out of bed and onto the catwalk. She paired this dress with a beautiful fascinator, as well as a white heels and a white clutch bag. Ever the gentleman, Prince Harry was carrying her clutch!

The garden party dress

During her first official outing as the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle donned a GOAT dress that wowed all of the guests at the garden party at Buckingham Palace. While this nude dress was simple, it was also breathtaking. The knee-length dress features a sheer detail at the top of the dress, as well as sheer sleeves that added sophistication to the whole thing. As if she wasn’t beautiful enough already, this look was finished off with an elegant hat that perfectly paired with her pinned-back hair.

The Ascot dress

If you know anything about British high-class culture, you’ll know that Ascot is one of the most famous events of the year. This horse-racing event attracts some of the best from high society, and the royals often make an appearance. In June 2018, Meghan attended this event in a white Givenchy dress complete with an embroidered waist and hem. She topped off this look with an impressive black and white hat, and she looked as stunning as ever.
Meghan Markle has always wowed us with her wardrobe choices, but it seems as though she has upped her game since officially becoming a royal. These outfits have given us all outfit envy, and we can’t wait to see what else she brings out of the bag…
